What Next, Nurdin?

He's had fans demonstrating against him for so long he hardly ever attends games anymore. The government refused to back his nonsensical world cup bid and have actively opposed him. Boos calling for him to stand down echoed round Bung Karno Stadium at the AFF Cup Final against Malaysia seen and heard around the region. He failed to get appointed to Asian Football Confederation committee scoring on a par with the Timor Leste candidate. He has done his job while locked up on corruption charges. He was reelected a second time despite his candidacy being clearly against FIFA statutes. He has seen clubs defect to an alternate league.

How much more can he take and how much longer before he finally does the decent thing and step down?

Perhaps being humiliated in front of the world governing body might be the straw that finally breaks the camel's back?

Surely we are entering the death throes of the Nurdin regime at the PSSI. The only worry is who will replace him. 'Cos for sure it won't be a breath of fresh air.
