Persebaya clear out

Things can get all bums over nipple here at times. Earlier in the season Persipura ditched their manager despite leading the ISL. Then Fredy Muli quit from Persebaya despite seeing them top of the IPL eastern division having dropped just four points in the first half of the season.

Fredy quit because of the Surabaya side's financial woes. Arcan Iurie quit Persik for the same reason. Arcan Iurie is now in charge of Persebaya...this is worse than Days of our Lives!

Chilean striker Javier Rocha has moved up the road to Gresik United. The 31 year old is used to dealing with the removal men having previously played for, among others, Persiba, Persija, Persitara and if memory serves Persigi!

Former Persik keeper Kurnia Sandy has also made the same journey which just shows what a funny old game this is. Last time I met him he told me he wanted a club in and around Jakarta but you can't always get what you want.

Also packing their toothbrush and heading out of dodge, well Surabaya, are I Pute Gede, a former Arema and Persita midfield player who also played in the national side, and Jordi Kartika who have moved east along the coast to Persekabpas Pasuruan.
